Setting the stage

While we're still in lockdown due to COVID, there's time to get some logistics taken care of.  Here's the proposed format for the group:

We are a biweekly gay men's figure drawing aiming to provide a safe space for gay and gay friendly artists to create art from the male figure without being limited to the classical figure.  Exploration of the sensual and erotic potential of the male figure is welcome too. 

The nude male models will pose in classical, sensual and occasionally sexually provocative ways as to their degree of comfort and in collaboration with the artists. In general there will be a variety of poses varying in time from short "gesture" poses of about 2-5 min to longer poses which are about 20 min with breaks as appropriate. 

The group is open to sketchers of ALL skill levels including beginners, hobbyists and fine artists. Sexuality does not matter as long as you are comfortable with an all male group and models and models posing in a sensual and provocative manner.  Models will be selected for their passion, enthusiasm and ability to provoke and inspire an audience.
